Artist's Comments 's "25 essential expressions" sheet [link] has been around a while, and I've had it on my comp for about as long, started three times, scrapped everything, started over... and finally did it tonight. Okay, I FAIL at expressions.  I even fail at likenesses. Which is kind of sad, since Aidan Cameron is probably the most often drawn character in my life (wait, no, that's probably still Maedhros). Anyway, I had fun, hope you do too. Each of these was done in less than four minutes. Some of them are actually good. I like "rage", "hollow" and "drunk". Some of the others are... less than. Clearly, Aidan doesn't get triumph too often. Photoshop. Oh, and yes, that should be Aedan. |

speaking of which, if you're going to draw Aidan, you should draw something, you know, cute and funny, like... like Aidan dressed as a 70s rock star. something light-hearted. because he has all these serious pictures - not necessarily broody, but definitely serious. and I think he needs some humor in his life.
but perhaps there is some in the story itself? (which I, um, haven't read yet, but plan to! really I do!)
