:iconnapalmnacey: 's "25 essential expressions" sheet [link] has been around a while, and I've had it on my comp for about as long, started three times, scrapped everything, started over... and finally did it tonight.

Okay, I FAIL at expressions. :D I even fail at likenesses. Which is kind of sad, since Aidan Cameron is probably the most often drawn character in my life (wait, no, that's probably still Maedhros).

Anyway, I had fun, hope you do too. Each of these was done in less than four minutes. Some of them are actually good. I like "rage", "hollow" and "drunk". Some of the others are... less than. Clearly, Aidan doesn't get triumph too often. :D

Oh, and yes, that should be Aedan. :D

Well, two things are for sure: he's more expressive than you claim him to be, and I'd fail at reading his "angry" expression... which doesn't seem safe, no ;)

Of course "silly" is my favourite :XD:

Btw... does he really show all those expressions at least once a lifetime? Imagining some of my less expressive characters, they really would keep their faces mostly carefully schooled... not to mention some wouldn't be capable of "flirty" for dear life :XD:

Oh, I think he does. At least, I had situations in mind when I drew each of these. Apart from silly, to be honest. ;)

Flirty would probably be in a brothel. :giggle:

He is that, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have other expressions too. Mainly the angry ones. ;)

pleased and hollow are the best :D all the rest are great, the "silly" one has unrealistic tongue, but.. it's a comic drawing sooo..
