Whee! This one's had me excited for some time now - those of you who love Tolkien art certainly know Anke Eißmann [link] , and roughly two weeks ago, we had the idea to do something together. We decided to each take one shot of the same scene from the Silmarillion - in this case, Curufin and Celegorm stirring up the people in Nargothrond - and then put them together with the quote underneath.

In case you couldn't tell ;), my pic is the one on the left, Anke's the one on the right.

I tinted my final version slightly green so it wouldn't clash as badly with Anke's.

I think this is a perfect illustration of Tolkien text ;) I love how you each picture it!

I think I prefer yours, because the elves are more handsome (that's an important criterion!) and I love the agitation of Celegorm opposed to Curufin, calmer but with a machiavellian look ;)
But the other one is great too, really!

Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful and beautiful! I love the way you brought this passage of Tolkien's Silmarilion to life, and I adore the book-like presentation. Well done!

The left one is very good representation of how that guy acts, very hot-headed, absolutely no control of his emotions and doesn't think before he acts or speaks.

i think so.
aahhh what is it called???!! How to draw fantasy. I think that one is it, with a wizard on the front dressed in blue.
