Wheeee ^___^

My end of an art trade with the wonderful ~melukilan ! It's her characters Badri (left), a bard, and Skawa, a skinchanger, from her "Changewind" story, set in a Bronze/Iron Age setting. Got another one of those two coming up, in an... ummm... slightly different situation. :D

We actually agreed on that trade two years ago ^^; but I kept postponing it and finally forgot about it (apart from that nagging feeling that kept coming over me) but I'm so glad I finally got it done, I'm really pleased with this. Click here [link] to see her pic - and look at her gallery while you're at it, she's so good with poses and anatomy!

Watercolour over a sketchier lineart [link] than I usually do - and I think this is the way to go! ^^ No computer here.

Excellent job done on clouds! I`m happy to see experimenting with different types of colors (watercolor and non watercolor) and light effect! :)

Thanks! The clouds here really did turn out great. I don't think I ever managed to repeat that trick. :D

You`ve made it once, you`ll make clouds like this again. And I think it will look even better. It is not only about cloud shape, you managed to paint clouds with sky depth and smell of fresh wet air. That I can say for sure. :)

i know this is an art trade and have a story of it own, but, i don't know why, it remember me a passage on the book Stonehenge by bernard cornwell where Camaban and his brother Saban are looking for a temple.
the illustration, this artwork is just gorgeous.

good job with the watercolor! It looks like it could be a book cover =D

And I really like the clouds for some reason...

The reason why I love this so much is: You didn't use the computer. :) It's sooo amazing!

It came out gorgeous! I don't see work like this very often, anymore. Rather sad... The amount of work in the grass alone boggles my mind.
