Managed to get this done somehow in-between marking class tests. O_o I have nearly a hundred lying around I have to get done by next weekend, but I thought I was going mad unless I didn't do something besides writing "I GR -s!!!!!!" in margins whenever a student had committed something like "The author say this because she want that the reader feel with the characters." :iconscreamingplz:



Daenerys Targaryen from George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and more recently HBO's "Game of Thrones". I actually made her resemble actress Emilia Clarke quite a bit - mostly because Dany never had a face for me while I read the books.

Schmincke watercolours on Hahnemühle Torchon paper, A3 size.

She's not supposed to look like Emilia Clarke; I just based her on the actress. I don't do celeb portraits.

Hello, I saw in your description that you used Torchon paper for this and I've been meaning to ask - have you tried Canson Montval Torchon paper? I'm hoping you can tell me the difference between the two... thank you very much!!!

I've never tried it, and never seen it :) Torchon would be rougher in the surface, and probably more cottony than the regular Montval.

She seems to be far more gentle than if she was really copied on Emilia Clarke's face, I think.. She's far more innocent here ^^
