A scene I haven't drawn in ten years: Fingon rescues Maedhros from Thangorodrim. Yes, I'm aware that there are several things wrong with this--I wanted them to be in Mithrim already, but green hills totally threw this pic off composition. And Maedhros looks just a bit too good for fifty years' of hanging from one hand. Sue me.
Wow, this is really good! and to the person who commented above me, I don't think it looks distorted. It's hard to draw perfect realism when you're not actually looking at a photograph (and hard even then! lol)
Awww! I have to read Silmarillion again after I'm done with the book I'm reading now. I really do love Silmarillion (even though it's almost like a history book)
Anyway, the picture is amazing! I love the way you use watercolour and the paper texture really gives this a very raw and "handmade original" look. I love that!
Heh, I admire your patience with the chainmail (it IS a pain to make chanmail inntit)?
Overall a really good picture, favvy, fav.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
