Okay, the only one that really qualifies for this is the third - the rest are roughly around the same situation, but not the same scene. They're just for kicks. ;)

The jump from 1995 (twenty years old) to today is obvious... but there's at least a bit of refinement between 2004 (twenty-nine years old) and today as well.*

All scenes, needless to say, from Tolkien's Silmarillion.

I think the next one will be one following a single scene from 1992 to today... choices for those are limited. And involve a certain redhead. :D

*Those hard light edges I did in 2004 do look nice... but where the heck is the light coming from? I'm thinking Maedhros' left thumb. But yes, I still really like that 2004 version in spite of its flaws. Or maybe because of them. ;)

The bottom ones are both fantastic, perhaps I'm to attached to the 2004 variant  It's like shots taken on other days - first shows hope for waking up of Maedhros, it's like a prayer; the other happens afterwards.

Yeah - the bottom two don't really qualify for "Draw this again" :)

Gotta say, your poses have gotten just a TEENSY bit more dynamic. :XD: I think your old art is charming, though. But, yeah, so much better there's no question.

Wow.
I actually like the 2004 one more than the recent.

This is so inspirational. Somehow I was under the impression that artistic skills stopped growing around the same time you did... you know, 20's-ish. It was rather depressing to think I probably wasn't going to get much better. But seeing how far you've come even since your 20's is... exciting. I can still (maybe) get better! Thanks so much for posting this. :D
