"Well, it is clear to me that he has done a very good job on you", said Scrimgeour, his eyes cold and hard behind his wire-rimmed glasses. "Dumbledore's man through and through, aren't you, Potter?"
"Yeah, I am," said Harry. "Glad we straightened that one out."
And turning his back on the Minister for Magic, he strode back towards the house.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I've been wanting to do this pic ever since I read the scene last summer... and now I've finally stopped waiting for long luxurious hours to do it in a sophisticated manner, and did it... in a less sophisticated one. :D

Pencil, Photoshop.

This is the last update, I promise!! How the heck could I've forgotten his scar?

"Dumbledore's man through and through", that is Harry's most impressive quote for me.
Strong and determined even from the cruel and coldness of the world around... great pic!

yessss
that's the spirit! It is a very determining point for harry indeed. Not the whiny kid anymore.. no.. he finally has some standpoint and his own mind

I love this piece! The face and pose say it all...
i like tha fact taht it is scetchy looking. Not refined and polished with color and all... no I think the style perfectly reflects the situation.
Very awesome.. :+fav:

I was running for a pencil and paper as soon as I'd read the scene, to make a note to draw it later, for much the same reasons you said. I's a great scene for Harry.

Chaucer: You've probably read my book? The Book of the Duchess? No? Well, it was allegorical.
Roland: Well, we won't hold that against you, that's for every man to decide for himself. (A Knight's Tale)

Thanks! One of the coolest scenes in all the books.

wonderful. the colour and the style reflect this part of the book perfectly... and the fact that he's not wearing his hogwarts uniform states even more that he truly is "dumbledore's man". whatta great pic...
