This is the companion piece to [link] , also painted for ELFENWELTEN [link] , an artbook companion to the bestselling Fantasy series by German author Bernhard Hennen, which is coming out this month.
The character here depicted is Noroelle, who was banished from her world by the elf queen, for having given birth to a demon's child. To protect the baby from the queen's wrath, she leaves it on the doorstep of a human couple somewhere in a wintry forest. Watercolour. |
