"Where are we going?" Aidan whispered.
What he actually meant was, how far is it? He was far more fatigued than he wanted to admit, his ribs and leg hurting far worse now than ever before, and he had to stop more and more often to catch his breath, even though he hated doing so. He hated being weak and helpless, especially in the presence of a woman—and particularly in the presence of a woman that was courageous as well as beautiful.
And insensitive. "Out," she replied briskly.
Aidan grimaced and fell silent again.

The Rhyddion Chronicles

Set not long after "This is your very last chance" - Aidan finds he has help even in the most unlikely of places.

Got two more pics coming from my novel as soon as I find the time to finish them. ^^

I love this. It captures the expressions so well. The motion of the characters is great, and I love the highlights and shadows. Lovely piece.

just one question, where did you learn to color like that .... cuz im coming on fine with the drawing part... but the coloring and choosing the colors is a bit harder for me, 'specially the hair... though it would be much easier if i get a pad (which should be soon)

A pad can't really help you with colour choices and understanding of lights and shadows. For photorealistic rendering, you need a heck of a good eye. I don't have it either. This picture is very unusual for me, as I somehow managed to do realistic shading for once - I can't do it at will ;)

Colour choices are easier; this tutorial by Socar Myles might help you. :) [link]
