Artist's Comments

A sketch I did in the shopping centre yesterday, when Timo had fallen asleep in his pram ;) Coloured at home in PS. My new D&D character, created when my Elven Arcane Archer was killed a month ago.

When the sky was a vaporous flame;
I have seen the dark universe yawning
Where the black planets roll without aim,
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name."

Very beautiful girl with acute eyes and lovely face :). + very delightful combination of colours. I like her outfit.

So beautiful and striking; I absolutely love the earthy colour palette you've used for this piece, as it enhances Jamila's ethnic background. Great folds in the clothing, too, as her garments look realistic. I especially like how you've done Jamila's facial features, as she does look exotic, and not like some white person with different coloured skin. Its nice to have ethnic variety. Instant favorite. :)

That's great! I like the Arabic sorta style for this character. She's beautiful, sorta reminds me of Soraya 'Dust' Qadir from New X Men.

Are you playing this character in the Forgotten Realms setting?

Yes, she's Mulhorandi. I know it's more of an ancient egyptian setting, but boy, did I love those desert men in the Mummy. :D

Chaucer: You've probably read my book? The Book of the Duchess? No? Well, it was allegorical.
Roland: Well, we won't hold that against you, that's for every man to decide for himself. (A Knight's Tale)

*grins* So did I. The Medjai were awesome and I loved Ardeth Bay!
