My first Jon Snow in nearly eight years! I just *loved* the "Game of Thrones" series, but I knew that the people who brought us "Rome" would not disappoint.

As always, I'm trying to hang on to my own ideas of the characters. Some are easier than others - like Jon. For others, like Dany, I didn't have a face and will gladly adopt the series'. Others, like Littlefinger, have gained so much by their actors that I'll probably take them over as well, at least partially.

If you only know the TV show and haven't read the book - Jon is fourteen in the books at the beginning of the story. Here, he'll be around fifteen or sixteen, after getting the scar from Orrell's eagle.

And yes, after the disaster that was "A Feast for Crows", I'm actually looking forward to "A Dance with Dragons" again. Take that, Melisandre's shadowbabies!

Jon Snow is from George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire".

JON! OH, he's one of my all time favourites! I love him!
Do you like the guy who is playing Jon in the HBO series? He looks way, way different to how I imagine him to look. I still like him and he has grown on me, but I like your interpretation better.

Ja ein Jon mit Narben. Ich liebe die Buchserie und naja von der TV-Serie kenne ich nur die erste Staffel. Zu wenig um sagen zu können es wäre gut oder schlecht. Meistens sind Verfilmungen enttäuschend da sie nie an die eigene Vorstellungskraft und Erwartungen herranreichen, wie auch jeder Mensch ist da verschieden.
Aber deine Zeichnungne sind der Wahnsinn, Details an denen man sich nicht satt sehen kann und so saubere Arbeit. Ich bin echt neidisch!

I love your character design of Jon :) He looks much more how I too saw him than in the TV series (although I agree that Dany's actress is simply perfect for her, at least from the little I've actually seen of the series so far)

I love Jon's story, though I'm hesitant to admit it because it seems like he's got a pretty hefty fan club (I still have silly issues about refusing to like popular things). Still, being the first son of Eddard Stark, conceived mere months(?) after he married by some unknown woman that Eddard refused to speak of, and being shunned by his "adopted" mother is a delightfully tragic situation to be in. I kind of want to forge a character in similar/equivalent circumstances now...

"Watch me teach you how to paint a five o' clock shadow!" That is a sentence I never imagined I would see.

I'm sure you get enough people slavering over your art so I shall abstain unless there's something in particular that I've fallen in love with. Unless, of course, you'd like one more to join the slavering masses. ;)

Hmmm... I am intrigued now. Is his parentage explored later in the series?? Though with Ned dead, how will this mystery come to light??
