Harry and Dumbledore sat without talking for the longest time yet. The realization of what would happen next settled gradually over Harry in the long minutes, like softly falling snow. 'I've got to go back, haven't I?' 'That is up to you.' 'I've got a choice?' 'Oh yes.' Dumbledore smiled at him. 'We're in King's Cross, you say? I think that if you decided not to go back, you would be able to... let's say... board a train.' 'And where would it take me?' 'On,' said Dumbledore simply.

Notes to sticklers: THE ONE THING I CHANGED DELIBERATELY: Yes, I know, Dumbledore is said to wear midnight blue robes, but they'd have disrupted the colours here. Even if the white adds to the "Jesus and God waiting for the Underground" feel, as ~ArneSReismueller from the Comicforum aptly put it.
THE TWO THINGS I DREW ACCORDING TO THE DESCRIPTION IN THE BOOK BUT WHICH MIGHT STILL CONFUSE PEOPLE: #1 No, Harry has neither his glasses nor his scar. It was weird drawing him without the glasses too. I sketched them in every now and then to convince me this was still Harry. #2 Yes, Dumbledore does have his glasses.
Watercolour with some digital touchups.
And yes, the perspective is one elaborate catastrophe...
I've always had trouble picturing the midnight blue robes, cuz in my head it just clashes so much with the brilliant brightness of everything else. this is very much how I see this scene in my head when I read it, very well done.
I went with a few students of mine, who giggled rather annoyingly all through this scene... apparently because of the word "hind" which in German is "Hirschkuh" and would translate to "deer cow".

I love how the railroad goes on, eventually being swallowed by the sun. I know that the design was supposed to be a train station, but even if it was an accident I see it as a symbolic thing. Well done!
WHELP, YOU NAILED IT. Except that the movie kept Harry in his clothes, this looks exactly like what they did, I bet they're spying on you. I love your interpretations, your work is just brilliant.
