"Snivellus Sighting!!"

Sirius Black, James Potter, Peter Pettigrew (top) and Remus Lupin (bottom) spend a nice early summer's day at the lake in their fifth year...

I went through hundreds of mid-seventies photos for this one. And now excuse me, I must go wash my eyes.... :D

Watercolour and Photoshop.

And since this seems to be necessary... -_-

Daily Deviation

Given 2007-10-07
Harry Potter--Marauders by *Gold-Seven

We've all seen innumerable fan art pieces of the Maurauders, right? What makes this piece stand out, aside from the gorgeous watercolours used, is the depth of research that went into it. Working out that these characters were growing up in the 70's, the artist search back through hundreds of photographs from the era to capture the right hair, clothing and atmosphere. Fantastic deviation. Honestly, I don't know why more people don't understand they grew up in the '70s and use the styles from that era. It's quite absurd. Well done.

Why did those guys make fun of Snape (who really wasn't all that bad), but not. . .Wormtail?

It continues to escape me.

Wormtail loved their jokes and their popularity. Snape saw nothing good in them, and probably went out of his way to let them know. Also, Snape was known to be a whiny, cruel kid at school and the Marauders exploited this to make fun of him.

It's the unfairness of how the sycophant who knows how to grovel up to the right people stays unpunished while the greasy git who is unbearable to pretty much everyone does not. :D

Whatever it is, if you made it as art and you want to call it art, it's art.

Awesome. Its a misconception that wizards where real world clothing. They wear robes. In the movies they wear normal clothing though. Not that I care. It looks perfect. Your very talented.
