Olwe of Alqualonde by Gold-Seven Olwe of Alqualonde by Gold-Seven
:deviation: Print available here! [link]

Olwë of Alqualondë, for Marcel Aubron-Bülles of the Deutsche Tolkien Gesellschaft, who rightfully pointed out nobody ever draws him.

But next up is really Maedhros. Don't want to risk his wrath. That sort of thing's not good for your health.

Pencil and white gouache, in my sketchbook.

Olwë is from The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien. (Uncle of Lúthien, grandfather of Galadriel.)

Well done! He reminds me of Viserys Targaryen from Game of the Thrones haha

He reminds me a tiny bit of a pointy-eared Viserys... only that this one looks noble, not power-hungry and insane.
Or Rhaegar Targaryen! That's it! It's Rhaegar Targaryen!

He looks really... fair. And majestic, somehow. A really great picture, I must say.
