Adorable! Reminds me of Bruenor's Dwarven girlfriend....who likes to climb mountains....(in Salvatore's Icewind Dale Trilogy)

I've never read the Icewind Dale Trilogy, I have to admit. ;) I skimmed it and decided that was all I needed of it ;)

Yay for bearded dwarf babes!!! I was actually asked to draw a beardless [gasp!] dwarfette for my brother!!

Ich hatte mich erst über das Gesicht gewndert, weil es so jugendlich aussah, bis ich deinen Bildkommentar zur "bearded dwarf women" gelesen habe!^-^ So kommt es jetzt verständlicher rüber!^^°°°

Crystal tears,
From an angel’s face,
Here in the dark forest,
So out of place....

Yay for bearded dwarf women indeed! Actually, you may not believe it, but this is the first picture of a dwarf women I've ever seen, and you've entirely succeeded in this pic because at first I thought it was a man! :XD: At any rate, it's a nice little piece of work for a card...and I do like your colour scheme. :)

Something like this demonstrates your skill at facial features - she is quite obviously a woman, despite her beard.
Also interesting how the background is set up - both the lines between mountains-sky and mountains-trail are curved... just gives the piece a balanced feel. :)

Hurray! It's good to see some dwarven women with beards.

I confuse people with drawings of my female dwarf. I made sure she has very feminine eyes and a nice full beard for that reason :D
