My favourite in the series so far! :boogie: For this batch of cards, I went for a couple of colour schemes off the beaten tracks I usually use. When have you last seen a pic of mine that had green in it? And no yellow to speak of? :D

Very nice work on all of these! The watercolor looks great. You have such a talent for it. The only think I see that looks odd to me is the arrow's position at the head... maybe it's just me, but it looks like it's on the wrong side of the bow *doesn't know enough about archery to be sure*

I can tell why this would be your favorite. I think it's mine too, of the quest cards you've recently done. There must just be something about that almost parchment-y background color. =p And wind. wind and wheat is good.
There's just so much action in this piece. He's not just walking, or looking out, or stalking something... he's actually in the act of hunting. I think that adds a lot to the attraction of the piece.

It is on the right side of the bow. :) When you draw the arrow back with your right hand, the arrowhead needs to lie on the left side.

Chaucer: You've probably read my book? The Book of the Duchess? No? Well, it was allegorical.
Roland: Well, we won't hold that against you, that's for every man to decide for himself. (A Knight's Tale)

I agree with my sister. Green is great! Very dynamic pose. Yes, this is one of the best Quest cards.

Brilliant job on the costuming for the elf. The traditional forest greens are good, and I like the panel on the front with the gold-looking leaves. The designs on the bow look more African than Elven for some reason, but they still look good. This is now my favourite of all the Quest Cards.

It has green! Of course it's going to be my favourite! Greeeeeeeeen!

I believe in nature, and the beauty of a tree. The structure of the universe holds Gods enough for me.
