Aidan Cameron, born on 1 November, at the time of Samhain, the Celtic Festival of the Dead. Symbolised by a raven (or, in Aidan's case, a crow), associated with vision, war, and death.

And bloody hell, that guy is a handsome bastard when he's wearing black...

So, happy belated Hallowe'en and, to Aidan, a happy ... uhm ... 760th birthday. :O_o: :D

I've done a lot of illustrations for them, actually - but that was fifteen years ago, so I don't have them in my dA gallery :) I loved her Deryni books. Still one of my favourite Fantasy series ever.
