I think Fingon's death is one of those which revolte me the most! I find it so unfair! (two against one, back attack...) And the disrespect of the ennemy...
Your drawing is amazing...such barbarism and yet so calm, he seems so in peace...We could believe that he is sleeping -but their is the ghastly wound...

Great picture. I always have trouble finding this stuff sad because the Elves fucking went to war, what did they expect? I'm sure Fingon gave better than he got.

So sad! :'( But beautiful! :) Started re-reading Silmarillion again, had almost forgotten how beautiful it is and it sure gets better with your pictures... Oh I would love a book illustrated by you, that would probably look awesome!
