I allways wondered, if the "The Book of Lost Tales" ssys that Manwe inspired/is Odin, and Tulkas Thor, then maybe Maedhros inspired/is Tyr/Tiw, just as Ingwë seems to be Freyr.

Do You recommend use colored pencils over the watercolours to lightings and shadows?

I can't say if I recommend them - I don't use them; but that doesn't mean they may not work wonderfully for you :) I find them too rough to really harmonise with watercolours. I do shadows in watercolour; highlights I leave :) You can see the process in my tutorials. [link]

It's been a while since I've last seen some of your pictures and it's incredible how much better you've become! And they already were great quite some time ago^^ Your progress is really inspiring me to try and draw a bit more again.
You're such an incredible artist and I'm so glad you're obsessed with the Silmarillion ...and especially Maedhros (I LOVE the Feanorians!)

hmmmm scream and run or stand and gawk?? :wow: very difficult. :D

and all those details... just noted the cloak clasp *-* ("only" after the third visit ^^') and there are beads in his hair :happybounce:



but I definitely pity the orcs
