I sped over here for a solution to my comic's chainmail problem. At some point I was so desperate that I tried making my own pattern in photoshop but it always makes me cringe to see that method - in comics or otherwise.

Hey. I just wanted to thank you. I've been using this ever since i saw this tutorial (which was like earlier this year) but i just got a DA account resently. Anyways thank you the armor i draw looks 100% better now, I used to just do little tight crossknit kinda style, but this is a great improvement.
