*Spoiler warning! Do not read description unless you've finished "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" or you're not bothered by spoilers....* I didn't do a spoiler preview as the image itself doesn't really tell you this much, but the rest of the description and the other comments certainly will!
'A chilly breeze that seemed to emanate from the heart of the Forest lifted the hair at Harry's brow. He knew that they would not tell him to go, that it would have to be his own decision.
"You'll stay with me?"
"Until the very end," said James.'
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Gosh, until this book, I could claim that I hadn't cried - much - while reading the HP books; with the excaption, believe it or not, of the scene where Alice Longbottom gives her son a chewing-gum wrapping paper. This chapter brought the total of used tissues to record level.
AWESOME book. Everything I'd hoped for as a conclusion to the series.
Pencil, parchment, Photoshop. (See my journal header for a link to the technique.)
That is a really cool picture of that scene, though in my minds eye I saw them more as ghostly images rather than real life figures. That is some damn fine pencil work.
I made them slightly less saturated than Harry, but more "substantial" than I imagine a ghost.

Chaucer: You've probably read my book? The Book of the Duchess? No? Well, it was allegorical. Roland: Well, we won't hold that against you, that's for every man to decide for himself. (A Knight's Tale)
Awesome, Gold Seven. I always love your HP art, but this is great. The mood, the depictions. it's the second picture of this scene I've seen, and my favorite so far.
SPOILERS!!!
I loved DH too...except for the deaths. Lupin, in particular. He's my favorite... : ( I suppose it's kind of odd for a guy to get attached to fictional characters, but they're a lot more than just words on a page. That's why I love books.
Anyway. I love how you draw Lupin, as usual.

Agreed, it was so amazing and sad and beautiful. This moment made me sob like a child. Also, to top it off, you managed to capture it aaand you portrayed Lily and Lupin exactly the way I imagined them but could never seem to be able to betray.. I may just ref this a bit for a while XD
Im just so glad im not the only one sticking to the original thing of Harry's scar being in the MIDDLE of the foredhead and not off to the side
