Last of the watercolour commissions! This one was for , of her character Isaac. As soon as she said "Steampunk", I was happy to spend some extra time on the clockwork design in the background ^^ I'd been waiting for a chance to do some steampunk for ages.

Watercolour, some white marker. I'm experimenting a lot with watercolour techniques and other media right now... and I'm loving it.
I love it when watercolour and lineart complement each other so well. Sometimes it's only watercolour and the picture feels fuzzy. Sometimes the watercolour is just a light wash or quick strokes to give some flesh to a sketch, but I love when there seems to be a perfect balance.
It usually means Victorian fantasy, a kind of alternative 19th century, where magic exists beside technology. Of course, other definitions may be slightly different.
