Lol, my ferrets do this to me when I'm reading, they have to know what I'm doing. Amazing, She looking exactly how I imagine Hermoine to look like when I was reading the books for the first time in third grade.
wow... im not sure ive ever seen a hermione so close to the one in my head. little bit blown away right now. ironically enough, crookshanks is nothing like i imagined him :L maybe theres only so much perfection one can fit into a picture.
Yep, just getting to this, and it is awesome. I like how your Hermione has bush/full hair, as that is how it was in the books. What I like most about this is you captured the "cat dynamic" perfectly. That "I love you and I am obviously much more important than what you are doing" attitude. My cat, who granted is a very strong 17 pound cat, actually knocked my ps3 controller out of my hand the other morning. I had the audacity to stop petting him before he was ready for me to move on. [ sigh ]
So pretty and cute! I always imagined Crookshanks as real mean and ornery, I always wondered why she adored him so much. Then again, maybe Crookshanks was real sweet and affectionate with Hermione but mean to everyone else.
Since there's now a sleeping cat on my lap, which was preceded by the same cat rolling all about my keyboard and mouse, striking random function keys, zooming in on pages and clicking daily deviations, I understand perfectly. Yes, that expression on the cat's face fits, too. Though Loki's more of "I'm so sweet, I know you can't be angry at me, so there."
It's a common joke in our family that people who come to visit us for the first time never see our cat. When they've been to our place for the third time, they often ask, "I always thought you had a cat?"
Then on their fourth or fifth visit, Mikesch will suddenly slink around a corner, deigning to welcome them.
