Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Hi all,

I'll be away from keyboard for a while. We've bought a house which we've almost finished redecorating, our old flat is nearly empty (I'm kneeling in front of my desk as I type this, as my chair is already gone).

This means I won't be replying to comments and notes. A lot of the questions asked in there, I see, are answered in my FAQ [link] anyway, or even worse, in the artist comments of the pic those people replied to. Which is annoying in the best of times and even more so when you don't have the minutes left to reply. And yes, I'm aware that none of them will read this.

But at least I can say "I said so!" when I do a clean slate of new comments made after today.

The next weeks are going to be bad... looking forward to being on dA again from my new, less cluttered, and less dusty office.

Oh my XD Unfortunately, not in your country. We experienced the same in our last moving to a new house, because we had a big garden with a lot of plants; here, the garden is much smaller than there. In the end, we left a lot of plants in the old house, because we couldn't find any place for them here.
Some plants with flowers, we took to churches. You know, in Italy is common to bring flowers or little plants and put them before statues and crosses, as an offer of beauty and good will. It's tradition ^^ But I have a feeling that this would sound really odd to most of the people in the world.

I think that sharing flowering plants with everyone by leaving them in shrines is a lovely tradition that brightens up the world, even though I've never heard of it myself
