Updates

Thanks for all the input on my watercolour vs digital question in regard to "Dying of the Light". I have now learned not to redo digital pieces in watercolour (or vice versa) as I'll just confuse myself and most people around me. :D

I'll actually keep the digital version in its exposed place in my gallery. I've lightened it a bit; it should now look on y'all's screens as I wanted it to turn out in the first place. I actually prefer it over the watercolour one.

In other news: HEROES!!! OMG, Show, I love you. Seriously, how good was that premiere? I just loved it. Character-driven plots all the way for me. Expect more artwork. Soon. Ish. ^__^

A great surprise arrived in the week before the premiere too - I received an email from actor Assaf Cohen, who plays Hesam on the show. Friends of his had forwarded to him the sketch that I put up here on dA. He was ever so friendly, terrific guy. He's officially my hero now.

Which season of Heroes are you on? I felt very exhausted by sub-standard acting of first season, couldn't think of bringing myself to watch the second one - yet from your words it looks like it is getting better at some point?

Or am I just not compatible with the show, and you enjoyed it from the very beginning? :)

I suppose if you didn't like season one, there's not much chance you'll like anything else. ;)

That's a shame :( Oh well, we're all different, that's something to enjoy and cherish :D

What you might try is Volume Four, "Fugitives", which begins with episode 13 of season 4. I didn't care much for volumes two and three, and absolutely loved Fugitives.

Ok, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel? :) I think it would be weird to skip 2 and 3 completely, so will try to take time and watch them too.

Thanks!

Actually, you're better off skipping them. :D And you're really missing close to nothing, story development-wise. They did a lot of weird stuff with volumes two and three, and then returned completely back to normal with volume four.

Pretty much all new characters from volume two are dead by the time of volume four, too, it's almost terrifying. The main cast is all still there.

That's a novel idea. I will think about it, thanks :)

Hooray for non confusion!
Hooray for Heroes!
Hooray for emails!
HOORAY FOR MORE ARTWORK!
I've just managed to get my roommate to start watching Heroes after she was away all summer and she's all 'ASDFGHJKL;' and its really funny. She loves Peter and Mohinder.
Hooray for more artwork!
I should do Heroes art. Will you do pictures of characters who aren't Petrellis, too? <3
