But I hope that if the show is renewed, they will do something better about it cause series 4 was quite poor.
Get the first season though, it's by far the best.
Now, Heroes is possibly a little different as a TV series, but still.

Not books on Heroes though. The book series was completely not Heroes-related, apart from the fact that the fans asked for more than was originally planned.
I don't think that was the case with Heroes. What the show never recovered from was the writers' strike in season two. Then the creators wanted to blast the fans away with too much awesomeness in season three, and what we got was a bunch of stuff that was so awesome that the writers themselves had no idea how to resolve it...
