Updates

Well, you noticed - I broke out the ol' watercolours again. And gosh, do I have to eat my words! So many people had told me they liked my watercolours better while I did so much digital stuff, I actually got annoyed with it. I still think there are pics where digital works at least as well or better than traditional, but as I stood over "You're a moron, Aedan Cameron", cursing as I dipped my brushes into Pepsi and took hearty swigs from my water container, and feeling the utter and incomparable elation of doing so, I couldn't believe how I could not have missed the feeling! And I'd been laughing at all those who had told me that in digital, they missed that "hands on" feeling.

I'm not laughing anymore. ;)

So, in short - expect more watercolours from me!

Another moment of giddy excitement arrived a couple of days ago when `Saimain and I discussed her pic of Llywelyn she did for our art trade, and rather innocuously asked whether I was really going to kill him off.

Which sent my brain spinning on a journey which ended in the decision to rewrite my story yet again, and this time, make Llywelyn as much of Owain Glyndwr as of Llywelyn ein llyw Olaf. Sorry. Making him a rebel prince fighting a guerilla war rather than making him a boy king fighting a regular war.

Expect some redesign sketches of Llywelyn, too. :D And eventually, re-rewritten chapters. But hey, there's still plenty of time until 2023.

Happens to the best of us. :D

I recommend square, blue plastic containers for painting water. They're to different from glasses to be confused.

I think all your work is wonderful, but I am rather partial to the watercolors.
